I have been in dogs since a child. My first love was the collie until I saw my first sheltie & I had to have one.
I was lucky to have parents that were dog lovers too. So, of course they let me keep a sable male sheltie puppy I brought
home at age 11 from the pony farm & I called him Laddie but I also had a collie I called Duke.
I continued with my collies from the Bonnydale & Sandamac bloodlines until 1973. After watching the shelties in the
breed/obedience rings which had the beauty & the brains. I made the breed change. I had my mind made up as to what my ideal
sheltie was to look like & the shelties that always caught my eye were the ones from the Banchory line. I made the
2 1/2 hour drive to Banchory & the rest is history.
